About Forum Integration

Filed under: Uncategorized — ubuntudemon @ 11:07 pm

UDS Paris was great. I’ve met a lot of interesting people, I’ve learned a lot and I’ve also had some good talks about improving the integration and communication between the forums and the rest of the community. There were two BOF’s dedicated to this subject.

Henrik Nilsen Omma created this Forum Integration specification. In my opinion he is a great guy with some great ideas.

Benjamin Mako Hill wrote a brief section about all of this in this newsforge article about UDS Paris.

Improving the relationship between the forums and the rest of the community is very important because the forums are very important to a lot of Ubuntu users.

That’s why I hope some forum staff will be able to attend UDS Mountain View to help to improve the integration and communication between the forums and the rest of the community.

Here’s the fridge article announcing UDS Mountain View
